[ARCHIVED] Important Update from the Superintendent 12/6/2020

Please read today's update regarding COVID-19 cases in the school community, and for information about tomorrow's Gardner testing site!

On Friday, the district was notified that an individual from GMS tested positive for COVID-19. The person was last in school on 11/20, and was NOT in school during the contagious period. Although no actions are necessary, we want to ensure 100% transparency with all COVID cases.

Additionally, the City, in cooperation with the Department of Public Health, will have a mobile COVID-19 testing site for area residents at the Knowlton Street parking lot near City Hall tomorrow, Dec. 7, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Testing will be free and proof of insurance is NOT required. Click here for more information!

Thank you for your continued diligence during this time.

Mark Pellegrino, Ed.D.
