The City of Gardner remains under a mandatory water ban. The Mass. Drought Task Force has recommended a Level 2 - Significant Drought for all of Massachusetts. Lack of precipitation, no appreciable rain noted in the forecast, and concern over very dry soil conditions and Fire Danger are prompting the recommendation. No non-essential outdoor water use from 9 AM to 5 PM.
