Massachusetts is the recipient of a Statewide Family Engagement Center (SFEC) grant from the United States Department of Education. The SFEC grant will provide Massachusetts with nearly $4.5 million in investments related to building capacity for family engagement over the 5 year grant period. As part of year 1 activities, the state team is conducting a needs assessment, which includes a family survey. If you are working with families who have children in a Massachusetts public school, Preschool through Grade 12, and are interested in sharing this brief family survey, please use this survey link (English version). Please note that the term school in this survey refers to either a public school (Preschool through Grade 12) or a program that serves preschool children.

The results of the survey will help provide a starting point in terms of the development of tools and resources related to family engagement so the more families that we have complete the survey, the clearer the direction will be for our state’s use of these resources. The survey will take about 10 minutes to complete and families’ responses will be kept confidential.
