PUBLIC DISCLOSURE NOTICE
In compliance with Chapter 40, Section 56 of Massachusetts General Laws, the Board of Assessors has conducted a comprehensive reassessment of all classes of real property and personal property for the City of Gardner in compliance with the Minimum Reassessment Standards. The City has received notification of preliminary certification from the Department of Revenue/Bureau of Local Assessment. Assessments are at full and fair cash value in accordance with M.G.L. Chapter 59, Section 38. The City’s proposed real property valuation has
increased 4 percent and personal property has increased 4.4 percent from Fiscal Year 2017. Real estate sales in the City of Gardner from January 1, 2016 to December 31, 2016 were used for the analysis.
The proposed Fiscal Year 2018 valuations are available on the City Assessor’s page and in the Assessors’ Office, Room 226.
