  3. Gardner Community Action Team (GCAT) Monthly meeting

    The Gardner Community Action Team (GCAT) is a community coalition that coordinates substance use prevention efforts in the Gardner area. GCAT is comprised of residents, business owners, public officials, city employees and stakeholders all of which come together to make up the city of Gardner. These coalition members work closely with all of its community partners to coordinate, plan and implement activities and learning opportunities for the community as a whole. These activities and learning opportunities include but are not limited to multi-media campaigns, community and school educational events, town hall events, conferences, health fairs and conducting compliance checks in partnership with the Gardner License Commission and the Gardner Police Department.

  4. Monthly Vegetarian Cooking Class

    The Peoples Place Community Center, 73 City Hall Ave., cordially invites the public to attend our monthly vegetarian cooking classes held at 6:30 pm on every last Thursday of every month, hosted by our ever popular presenter, Tina Dixson. Pre-registration is no longer required as all state mandates have been lifted (at least for the moment!), but to allow for planning purposes, please contact her at tinadixson@gmail.com, or text 978-660-7548 if you plan to come. Feel free to wear a mask if it makes you feel more comfortable, and don’t forget to get vaccinated!
