NOTICE OF RESCHEDULED ACCU-VOTE COMPUTER
BALLOTING PROGRAM TEST
In accordance with the provisions of 950 CMR §54.02, the City Clerk will conduct a test of the City’s Accu-Vote computer balloting program on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 beginning at 8:00 A.M. in the City Council Chamber, Room 219, City Hall. The testing is open to the public.
The test shall incorporate “test decks” of optical scanner ballots for the November 7, 2017 City Election and the Special State Primary, marked in such a way as to adequately test the computer program; demonstrate rejection of overvoted ballots; and test any other contents of the program which may have a bearing upon the accuracy of the count. The test shall include an audit of the accuracy of the test count.
