Drop Off Fees

These fees are due and payable each time you go to the Transfer Station with Trash or Construction Waste. You also may just use the Yellow PAYT bags instead of a fee. Cash or checks are not accepted at the Transfer Station, but must be prepaid at the Board of Health Office or may be purchased on-line here.  The Health Department does NOT accept debit or credit card payments in person at this time.

Debit/credit cards can be used through the on-line website here.  Go to the Transfer Station section of the payment website, purchase your items, print your confirmation page, and bring it to the Transfer Station with your purchases. If you purchase a Transfer Station Sticker, it will be mailed to you as soon as possible.

Bulk Items - $15 per unit

  • Appliances, Computer Monitors, TV's, Electronic Devices
  • Upholstered Furniture, Mattress, Box Spring, Small Engines

Wood Furniture - $15 per item


 - $5 per tire
Flourescent Light Bulbs and Propane Tanks (large and small) - $2 per item

Free Items

These items are free with your paid sticker or with your transfer station sticker:
  • ALL RECYCLABLES INCLUDING - Paper, aluminum, glass & metal containers,single polymer plastics, cardboard products.
  • ALL LATEX PAINT & PAINT PRODUCTS - Except hazardous oil based, marine, lead, hobby wood preservatives & stains.
  • SCRAP METAL - Includes metal piping and all items made of metal (ie: gas or charcoal grills, bicycles, treadmills, small desktop printers, CPU's, etc.
  • ALL DVD, CD, AND TAPES - in slot of recycling bin, includes all audio, video and computer disks.
